Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Fabiano Freire took the kick off in the first half of the match. Guarani FC's Luiz Fabiano Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Sílvio Luiz Veiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manoel Oliveira. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Glauco França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarani FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Adolfo Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luiz Fabiano Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ibiratinga's João Adolfo Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Rudolfo in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ibiratinga's Acácio Romero got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Afonso de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarani FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. João Adolfo Lira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fabiano Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. João Adolfo Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acácio Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Acácio Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guarani FC booed when Ibiratinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Manoel Oliveira managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Ibiratinga's Conrado Donatello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Adolfo Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Freire in the 36th minute of the match. Gildo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. João Adolfo Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamílton Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio Luiz Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Manoel Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Veiga in the 54th minute of play. João Adolfo Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Baptista in the 56th minute of play. Gildo Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but João Adolfo Lira made a huge save. 67 minutes into the game, Conrado Donatello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibiratinga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarani FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ibiratinga's Conrado Donatello got a free kick in the 67th minute. João Adolfo Lira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Freire's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 75 played minutes Ibiratinga got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Santana. Luiz Fabiano Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Luiz Fabiano Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarani FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Veiga in the 88th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Veiga struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Manoel Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibiratinga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Freire in the 92nd minute of play forced Ibiratinga's goalkeeper João Adolfo Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Veiga in the 95th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luiz Veiga in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manoel Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibiratinga's goalkeeper João Adolfo Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Guarani FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ibiratinga.
