Nilton Teixeira's late challenge caught a Forasteiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilton Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. 7 minutes into the match, Forasteiros FC's Ernani da Silveira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Nilton Teixeira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 8 minutes had been played. The supporters of Forasteiros FC booed when Minador EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovani Gerber in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, Minador EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Gerber in the 17th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Forasteiros FC's Samuca Guedes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dudu Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minador EC's Pedro Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Guedes in the 28th minute of play. Manolo Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuca Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Cardozo having to interfere. A collision led to Minador EC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Armandinho Meireles hit a great ball. Samuca Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 39th minute when Giovani Gerber elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Forasteiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Moura to maneuver through the defense. When Giovani Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Forasteiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Gerber couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuca Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giovani Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Pedro Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Minador EC's Adriano Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Dante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Forasteiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Amaral came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Forasteiros FC's Samuca Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Forasteiros FC's zone, Dudu Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Dante came out of the goal and Dudu Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Guedes in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Forasteiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovani Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armandinho Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Minador EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Samuca Guedes scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Cardozo, making the score, 0-3. Gerson das Neves hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Giovani Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Cardozo having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Giovani Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Forasteiros FC played a much better game than Minador EC and deserved their victory. The Minador EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
