Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Baltazar Bertassi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Aparaju's Elder de Lima got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ezequiel Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Chaves hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Castro in the 16th minute of play forced Aparaju's goalkeeper Almir Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Ezequiel Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quevedos's Ezequiel Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Aparaju's Carlos Fernando Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Damião made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Almir Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Castro in the 39th minute of play. João Augusto Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Augusto Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adelino Damião was a little too slow when Baltazar Bertassi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisão Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Ezequiel Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quevedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adelino Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Bertassi in the 72nd minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Damião having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Baltazar Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aparaju's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Baltazar Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Bertassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
