When Fernão Silva came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Affonso EC fans jumped to their feet. In the 42nd minute, Fernão Silva made a precise shot to the right of Nildo Santos. Anaurilandia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sérgio Gerber got free with 高然榕 in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, César Gaúcho made a precise shot to the right of Nildo Santos. Anaurilandia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 高然榕 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sérgio Gerber went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Affonso EC fully deserved thier win.
