After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Frederico Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belamento SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aílton Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Belamento SC's Oséias Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Coelho in the 37th minute of play. When Frederico Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belamento SC's protests and gave Frederico Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Belamento SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Oséias Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Coelho's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Frederico Silveira fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 47th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Elder Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar Rezende's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jaime Simões scored 0-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oséias Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Oséias Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, José Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Oséias Mineiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the game, Jaime Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc porto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belamento SC the free kick. A collision led to fc porto getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jaime Simões hit a great ball. Elder Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. fc porto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
