Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Arnaldo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espanha's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Arnaldo da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaxinduva's goalkeeper Umberto Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonçalo Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Medeiros in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Espanha got a freekick which was hit by Luisão de Queirós. Arnaldo da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Umberto Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agostinho Medeiros in the 23rd minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gonçalo Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Mandrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo Mazza having to make a save. Umberto Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Espanha's Luisinho Montenegro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Gonçalo Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Umberto Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 62nd minute. Luisinho Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Luisinho Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Pinho having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Espanha's Arnaldo da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umberto Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes, Espanha's Amadeu Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Umberto Pinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espanha reached it. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Luisinho Montenegro sped through Guaxinduva's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Umberto Pinho. In the 89th match minute, Guaxinduva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Umberto Pinho came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Espanha's Arnaldo da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Arnaldo da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaxinduva's goalkeeper Umberto Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
