Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rubinho Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celsinho Andrade during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cocuruto's Celsinho Andrade got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Garcia in the 4th minute of play forced Cocuruto's goalkeeper Pedrinho Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Maia in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Rubinho Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cocuruto's Pedrinho Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Valadares in the 9th minute of play. After 12 played minutes, Caraibuna's Cléberson Gaspar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedrinho Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caraibuna reached it. Lúcio Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Moraes having to interfere. Lúcio Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrinho Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. Waldir de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Kléber Nunes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Caraibuna's Waldir de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Maia in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Caraibuna's Lúcio Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lúcio Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pedrinho Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lúcio Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. Caraibuna's Lúcio Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Kléber Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caraibuna's zone, Rubinho Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir de Moraes came out of the goal and Rubinho Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Pedro Guedes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Pedrinho Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraibuna. Pedrinho Moraes stood somewhat misplaced when Lúcio Valadares came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Franklin Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lúcio Valadares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedrinho Moraes. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Franklin Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caraibuna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franklin Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cocuruto's Pedrinho Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Lúcio Valadares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedrinho Moraes, 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Caraibuna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cocuruto.
