Itacare SS's Yan do Vale managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nilmar Linares in the 5 minute of the game. Igor de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Miromir Nowakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itacare SS's Claudinei Esteves got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Lusitania booed when Itacare SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Altúnkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Igor de Barros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miromir Nowakowski, 2-0. Luiz Paulo Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Miromir Nowakowski made a huge save. Gabriel Altúnkov kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Miromir Nowakowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor de Barros's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Dudu Terra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Guerra went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Lusitania's zone, Severino Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu Terra came out of the goal and Severino Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Lusitania's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Guerra came free, but Dudu Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When Severino Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Itacare SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Guerra couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Itacare SS got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Esteves. In the 56th minute of the match Falcão Goiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miromir Nowakowski skillfully saved the ball. If Severino Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dudu Terra made a huge save. Severino Guerra had several of the Lusitania's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Dudu Terra as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Claudinei Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itacare SS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lusitania to leave the ground with a draw.
