Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emerson de Alcântara started the match with the kick off. Pedrinho Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CARDAN FC! Márcio Fonseca had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Inácio Salgado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Pedrinho Magalhães could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Adriano Ramalho however easily saved by the left post. Zé Augusto Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Fonseca having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Emerson de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papanduba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Emerson de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Papanduba booed when CARDAN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. CARDAN FC's Márcio Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Koehler in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, CARDAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Koehler came free, but Márcio Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Aguiar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Zé Augusto Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Fonseca having to interfere. CARDAN FC's Márcio Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson de Alcântara in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Ulisses de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CARDAN FC and the Papanduba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Papanduba's Emerson de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Zé Augusto Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Pedrinho Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute of the match, Emerson de Alcântara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Márcio Fonseca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedrinho Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adriano Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedrinho Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CARDAN FC's protests and gave Pedrinho Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrinho Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Emerson de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Márcio Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Zeca Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pedrinho Magalhães was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, CARDAN FC's Pedrinho Magalhães got a free kick in the 84th minute. Inácio Salgado, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Márcio Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson de Alcântara in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Papanduba's Zé Augusto Koehler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Márcio Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, CARDAN FC's Márcio Fonseca got control of the ball when Zé Augusto Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emerson de Alcântara succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CARDAN FC had won after a very even match.
