In the 6th minute Silas Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Baiano in the 16th minute of play forced PILOTS's goalkeeper Luizinho da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mormont FC's Silas Baiano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in PILOTS's zone, Genílson de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho da Silveira came out of the goal and Genílson de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dagoberto Lara hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Genílson de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, PILOTS's Luizinho da Silveira got control of the ball when Genílson de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho da Silveira having to interfere. Silas Baiano had several of the PILOTS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Luizinho da Silveira as he didn't even see the shot coming. Silas Baiano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Luizinho da Silveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, PILOTS's Sydney Favoretto got a free kick in the 40th minute. Luizinho da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Baiano in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Breckenfeld during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, PILOTS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silas Baiano to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Genílson de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Aragones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. When Silas Baiano got free in front of the goal in the 59th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Luizinho da Silveira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Téo Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PILOTS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mormont FC the free kick. Téo Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Hélder Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mormont FC! Mormont FC:s Maximo Aragones showed great skill when he stopped Baltazar Botelho:s penalty. The excitement rose when PILOTS's Baltazar Botelho after 76 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Mormont FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 4-1. Baltazar Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Botelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mormont FC booed when PILOTS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genílson de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Luizinho da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, PILOTS's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson de Azevedo came free, but Luizinho da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho da Silveira having to interfere. Téo Koehler got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Victor Cantona shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Genílson de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mormont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizinho da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genílson de Azevedo scored 5-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizinho da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mormont FC had played much better football throughout.
