Rony Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Palmeira in the 10th minute of the match. Gurihu's Wágner Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gurihu's Tiago Gabriel Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaká Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rony Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes, São Pedro FC's Donato Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rony Santana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in São Pedro FC reached it. Almir Tande made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Senna sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gurihu booed when São Pedro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Gabriel Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chicão Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Santana having to interfere. Rony Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Godoi in the 41st minute of play. Rony Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Godoi in the 42nd minute of the match. São Pedro FC's Olavo Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner Prata to make the kick off. Chicão Palmeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Rony Santana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olavo Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Santana having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched São Pedro FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
