Benedito Rosa started the match with the kick off. Laerte Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Nadir in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro França in the 9th minute of play forced Nataliense FC's goalkeeper Laerte Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro França, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Nataliense FC's Luiz dos Santos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz dos Santos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nataliense FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz dos Santos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 15th minute, one of Nataliense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nataliense FC. When Nataliense FC's Edmílson Figueiredo in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAGAAL ESEN SC's goalie prevented a goal. Laerte Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleandro Freitas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nataliense FC's Edmílson Figueiredo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Edmílson Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmílson Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nataliense FC's Edmílson Figueiredo got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of MAGAAL ESEN SC booed when Nataliense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Nataliense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MAGAAL ESEN SC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmílson Figueiredo to strike the kick off in the second half. Laerte Brodel made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Benedito Rosa sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Edmílson Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleandro Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Brodel came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by MAGAAL ESEN SC's Benedito Rosa. But to his dismay, Benedito Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Edmílson Figueiredo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleandro Freitas. Aleandro Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 72nd match minute, Nataliense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Aleandro Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Figueiredo in the 74th minute of play. Aleandro Freitas went to the wrong direction when Diego Neto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedito Rosa got free with Laerte Brodel in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Álvaro França scored 2-4 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laerte Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Figueiredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleandro Freitas was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Aleandro Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
