Charles Meira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Luiz Paiva 19 minutes into the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Charles Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Street Warriors's Luiz Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Ladario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Betinho Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Sílvio Luiz Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Betinho Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio Luiz Urbano's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied.
