After having played for 43 minutes, Martin Sawyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dream Madrid FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Sawyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mirassol's Raimundo Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87thth minute of the game Martin Sawyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mirassol's Válbson Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Martin Sawyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dream Madrid FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
