The Spayk 1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jefferson de Castro should have stopped the shot. Dráuzio Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luiz Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Luisinho Alves notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Spayk 1's Jefferson de Castro. Jefferson de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raúl Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dráuzio Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Sílvio Luiz Tinoco made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Rubinho Miranda notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Spayk 1's Jefferson de Castro. Jefferson de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Sílvio Luiz Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Santana in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maribondo EC's zone, Dráuzio Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luiz Tinoco came out of the goal and Dráuzio Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Murillo Santana came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Spayk 1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Santana couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play, Spayk 1's Genílson Britto made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dráuzio Bittencourt struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Sílvio Luiz Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spayk 1. Jacinto Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Dráuzio Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dráuzio Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Spayk 1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráuzio Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Maribondo EC's Raúl Madureira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. After a rather tough play, Maribondo EC's Rubinho Miranda got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute, Genílson Britto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maribondo EC's Sílvio Luiz Tinoco didn't even have to move. After 96 minutes of play, Spayk 1's Genílson Britto made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Maribondo EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
