With his leg Napier Ibio managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Spayk 1's Genílson Britto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Velasco in the 9th minute of play forced Spayk 1's goalkeeper Jefferson de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Arroio do Sal E.C.'s Amílton Velasco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson de Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Murillo Santana got free with Napier Ibio in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st match minute, Arroio do Sal E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Arroio do Sal E.C.'s goalkeeper Napier Ibio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Peixoto. If Jacinto Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Dráuzio Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spayk 1's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napier Ibio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murillo Santana got free with Napier Ibio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Napier Ibio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arroio do Sal E.C.'s Napier Ibio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Arroio do Sal E.C. from getting a goal against them. Spayk 1's Murillo Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genílson Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jefferson de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Pedrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Arroio do Sal E.C.'s Napier Ibio got control of the ball when Murillo Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a little luck, Spayk 1's Jefferson de Castro got control of the ball when Igor Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Spayk 1's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pedrosa came free, but Jefferson de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Genílson Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spayk 1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Spayk 1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Bittencourt in the 80th minute of play forced Arroio do Sal E.C.'s goalkeeper Napier Ibio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napier Ibio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arroio do Sal E.C.'s zone, Jacinto Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napier Ibio came out of the goal and Jacinto Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Edgar Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Dráuzio Bittencourt made a precise shot to the right of Napier Ibio. Arroio do Sal E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Despite being the better team, Spayk 1 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
