Olívio de Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. When Agremiação Viño Tinto's Olívio de Almeida, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Agremiação Viño Tinto. Cláudio Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Urbano in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Betão Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belchior Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belchior Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Olívio de Almeida sped through Magneto Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cláudio Andrade. After the first half Agremiação Viño Tinto were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olívio de Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. If Angelo Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Agremiação Viño Tinto's Angelo Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Andrade made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With his leg Cláudio Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Agremiação Viño Tinto's Olívio de Almeida fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Magneto Clube's Jairo Vieira in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Olívio de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Andrade having to interfere. Felipe Dionísio's late challenge caught a Agremiação Viño Tinto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Magneto Clube's Felipe Dionísio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Magneto Clube's Cláudio Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Magneto Clube from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, Agremiação Viño Tinto's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Vieira came free, but Damian Trela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. One of Agremiação Viño Tinto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Magneto Clube:s goal. A collision led to Magneto Clube getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jairo Coelho hit a great ball.
