Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Arruda got the match started through his kick off. Edinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Santos in the 3rd minute of play. Cacá Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th match minute, Minduri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Varela to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Pereira having to interfere. When Minduri's Gustavo Arruda in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Traipu EC's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Traipu EC got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Zanette. Cauan Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Olívio Hoffmann got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Minduri. If Cauan Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo Cunha hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Arruda got free with Edinho Pereira in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cacá Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho de Alcântara having to interfere. The long shot by Cristiano Pires in the 32nd minute really tested Edinho Pereira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 33rd minute, Nestor Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Dieguinho Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Edinho Pereira throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cauan Santos in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cacá Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Pereira having to interfere. Edvaldo Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Edvaldo Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacá Arruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Pereira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacá Arruda ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, Traipu EC's Washington Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Pereira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Minduri's Edinho Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Santos in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cauan Santos made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Minduri's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Santos came free, but Edinho Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Traipu EC defense, Gustavo Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcinho de Alcântara. The Traipu EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcinho de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Traipu EC's Cristiano Pires got a free kick in the 60th minute. Marcinho de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Edinho Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Santos in the 65th minute of the match. When Traipu EC's Cauan Santos in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minduri's goalie prevented a goal. Cauan Santos scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho Pereira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcinho de Alcântara was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Gustavo Arruda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo Arruda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Gustavo Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Santos's late challenge caught a Minduri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan Santos helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Cauan Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Pereira was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Gustavo Arruda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcinho de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The Minduri supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minduri would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
