The supporters of FORÇA JOVEM F.C booed when FLAMENGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Robin Mansueti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Felipe Cearense, passed just outside the right post. In the 15th minute Luís Eduardo Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedé de Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Paulo Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Luís Eduardo Soares sent off a good shot on target. Robin Mansueti took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Cearense. Felipe Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
