In the 10th minute, Cláudio Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agenor Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Galvão in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Paranoa SS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Túlio Baiano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paranoa SS's zone, Ademar Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agenor Netto came out of the goal and Ademar Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Duarte Galvão's late challenge caught a Paranoa SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Galvão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Levante Comunista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Paulo Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dino Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Galvão in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agenor Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 played minutes Levante Comunista got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Messias. Cláudio Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Mangueira having to interfere.

In the 53rd match minute, Paranoa SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Silva to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Paranoa SS's Murillo Arantes got a free kick in the 57th minute. Agenor Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte Galvão in the 61st minute. If Cláudio Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paranoa SS's Cláudio Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Pedro Paulo Mangueira came out of the goal and Valdomiro Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agenor Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Mangueira. Levante Comunista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdomiro Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Cláudio Silva scored 5-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Paulo Mangueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paranoa SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
