No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cássio da Silveira made the kick off in the second half. Jatauba's Maurício Paes pulled a muscle in his leg after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Santa Edwiges getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Serginho Velloso hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Jatauba's goalkeeper Dé de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Favoretto. Kauan Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Cauã Zilles missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 64 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Lucas Luz right hand side. José Carlos Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Jatauba's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Brasil came free, but Dé de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Dé de Medeiros made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Vitinho Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Dé de Medeiros throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vitinho Brasil in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. José Carlos Vale's late challenge caught a Santa Edwiges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jatauba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
