A wasted opportunity for Feiticeiro. 17 minutes into the match, Iraquara's goal looked a bit too open when Conrao Agrelo came free, but Benê Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Conrao Agrelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Vergílio hit a great ball. Feiticeiro's Conrao Agrelo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feiticeiro's Juarês Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Feiticeiro from getting a goal against them. César Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Alvarenga having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
