Rafael Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Novaes in the 4th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Caranahyba-rs's Claudinei Novaes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Murihu's Rafael Barros got control of the ball when Claudinei Novaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Machado in the 18th minute of play. When Jairo Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caranahyba-rs's protests and gave Jairo Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Machado in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Murihu's goalkeeper Rafael Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Picasso. The supporters of Murihu booed when Caranahyba-rs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aníbal Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Claudinei Novaes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Murihu's Rafael Barros. Rafael Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd match minute, Murihu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Claudinei Novaes in the 34th minute really tested Rafael Barros's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rafael Barros was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Claudinei Novaes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudinei Novaes really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Aníbal Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caranahyba-rs's zone, Aníbal Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sokol Zehirev came out of the goal and Aníbal Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Novaes was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Murihu's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Novaes came free, but Rafael Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson Albuquerque hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Anderson Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rafael Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Novaes scored 7-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Caranahyba-rs fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Caranahyba-rs's Claudinei Novaes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rafael Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Novaes in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Novaes in the 71st minute of play forced Murihu's goalkeeper Rafael Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Novaes took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Barros. Rafael Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Novaes in the 81st minute of play forced Murihu's goalkeeper Rafael Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Picasso scored 10-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Picasso hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Rafael Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the referee ended the match the Caranahyba-rs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
