Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aníbal Brito made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Zonta in the 3rd minute of play forced Luizianense SR's goalkeeper Dida Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Leonel Loyola in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Murihu's Sebastião Zonta. After 8 played minutes Luizianense SR got a freekick which was hit by Elói do Valle. Murihu's Aníbal Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Luizianense SR defense, Aníbal Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Trigo. The Luizianense SR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Trigo should have stopped the shot. Sebastião Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dida Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, José Pedro Ferraz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Murihu's Rafael Barros. Rafael Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rafael Barros came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Luizianense SR's Elói do Valle. But to his dismay, Elói do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 30 minutes into the game, Elói do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luizianense SR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murihu the free kick. Elói do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Dida Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Luizianense SR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Murihu got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Zonta. Alfredinho Vinhas, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rafael Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Ferraz in the 41st minute of play. Murihu's Rafael Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Ferraz in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Maria Ribeiro made a kick off. Murihu's Rafael Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Ribeiro in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Luizianense SR's José Maria Ribeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Barros. Rafael Barros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Luizianense SR's zone, Sebastião Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Trigo came out of the goal and Sebastião Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Barros made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Luís Guilherme Favoretto sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Murihu's goalkeeper Rafael Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Favoretto. Murihu's Rafael Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Murihu from getting a goal against them. Dida Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Luizianense SR's Luís Guilherme Favoretto got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Aníbal Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Leonel Loyola in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Murihu's Sebastião Zonta. Rafael Barros was a little too slow when José Maria Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-4. 85 minutes into the game, José Pedro Ferraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Rafael Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
