Zé Sarmento might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Sarmento ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Luiggi getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fred Massa hit a great ball. Armandinho Gomes stood somewhat misplaced when Ulysses Simões came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 20 minute. In the 24th minute, Luiggi's Claudinei Leme seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Claudinei Leme the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Luiggi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudinei Leme had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 23 minutes into the game, one of Luiggi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Olario. Tarcisio Seco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raphael Marques. 1-2. 31 minutes into the match, Luiggi's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Coelho came free, but Raphael Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Luiz Ferraz could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Armandinho Gomes however easily saved by the left post. Raphael Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Vianna in the 47th minute of play forced Luiggi's goalkeeper Raphael Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

If Pedro Luiz Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. In the 86th minute, Pedro Luiz Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Trigo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Ferraz in the 93rd minute of play forced Olario's goalkeeper Armandinho Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armandinho Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Simões in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olario had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
