Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kiko Maranhense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Britto made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Kiko Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. Manúel Noia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Netto in the 74th minute of the match. Kiko Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rodolfo Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federal F.C.'s Teodoro Moura was substituted for Gilvan Barral. Eero Meriläinen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the match was over Federal F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Palmeirante EC throughout the match.
