Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, 4 de Julho F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Arósio came free, but Amadeu Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Víktor Arósio in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Tepedino saved 4 de Julho F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aluísio Guerra in the 44th minute of play forced Sussuanha's goalkeeper Leopoldo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
