Vítor de Almeida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egil Bröms went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Filipe Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Egil Bröms had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor de Almeida. Clube Atlético Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egil Bröms was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Egil Bröms took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor de Almeida. Vítor de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Tytus Roman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vítor de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

If Inácio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Egil Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Egil Bröms sped through Clube Atlético Park's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vítor de Almeida. In the 75th minute Egil Bröms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Park's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Martins came free, but Vítor de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Correia made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Frank Tasso sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Egil Bröms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supremos's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Bröms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Egil Bröms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Supremos's Leopoldo Barros to fire away a dangerous shot which Vítor de Almeida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Supremos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
