Glauco Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Supremos. After 20 played minutes Caracituba got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Quaresma. Pedro Luiz Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Tasso in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Luiz Correia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aírton Braga. When Egil Bröms got free in front of the goal in the 28th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Glauco Cerezo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Wanderson Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Pedro Luiz Correia made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Roman in the 35th minute of play forced Caracituba's goalkeeper Glauco Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caracituba's Glauco Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Bröms in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Egil Bröms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Cerezo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Glauco Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egil Bröms's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egil Bröms to strike the kick off in the second half. Glauco Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tytus Roman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Tytus Roman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Supremos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Roman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luiz Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Vander in the 66th minute of the match. Caracituba's Guto Tasso suffered a sore thigh after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 67 minutes, Rubens Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Supremos and the Caracituba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Supremos's Rubens Lima got a free kick in the 68th minute. Caracituba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Tytus Roman scored to the left of an out of position Glauco Cerezo, making the score, 0-3. The Caracituba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Supremos's performance. The match ended with a win for Supremos.
