Olívio Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni do Vale in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olívio Teixeira saved Cowboys From Hell from getting behind. Cowboys From Hell's Olívio Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Marquez in the 9th minute of play. If Giovanni do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Altinopolis AD's Raimundo Sabóia suffered a concussion after 15 minutes and had to leave the field. After 15 minutes, Miguel Paes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cowboys From Hell and the Altinopolis AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cowboys From Hell getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Miguel Paes hit a great ball. Norberto Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Paes in the 27th minute of play. Maurício Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Olívio Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Norberto Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Olívio Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Paes made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Miguel Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 59 minutes of play, Cowboys From Hell's Miguel Paes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Terra hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Maurício Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Teixeira having to interfere. Miguel Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alexandre Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Altinopolis AD getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Maurício Terra hit a great ball. Jairo Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Cunha having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Miguel Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cowboys From Hell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Altinopolis AD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Valdo Pimenta hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Paulo Abraão during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Paulo Abraão hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Dito Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olívio Teixeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alexandre Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes, Maurício Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altinopolis AD and the Cowboys From Hell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Altinopolis AD were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
