Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Quicaba FC defense, Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cacá do Valle. The Quicaba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cacá do Valle should have stopped the shot. After 6 minutes of play, Upatininga FC's Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cacá do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joélson Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá do Valle having to make a save. In the 10th minute, Joélson Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Upatininga FC's Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cacá do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 17 minutes, Joélson Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Upatininga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quicaba FC's zone, Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá do Valle came out of the goal and Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Upatininga FC's Joélson Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Renatinho Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld in the 40th minute of play forced Quicaba FC's goalkeeper Cacá do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Upatininga FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gláuber de Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Joélson Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Cacá do Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Quicaba FC's zone, Leonel Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá do Valle came out of the goal and Leonel Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joélson Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá do Valle having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, Quicaba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld came free, but Cacá do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá do Valle having to interfere. When Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Upatininga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Upatininga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá do Valle having to interfere. Quicaba FC's Cacá do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Breckenfeld in the 90th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Quicaba FC got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber de Toledo. When the final whistle sounded Upatininga FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quicaba FC.
