Leonel Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Oséas Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Carioca having to interfere. If Cléberson Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Conani's goalkeeper Amadeu Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Conani's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Furtado came free, but Amadeu Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédson Furtado in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conani's Luís do Nascimento came free and shot a quick shot against goal 34 minutes in the game, fortunately Oséas Carioca had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cléberson Teixeira sped through Conani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amadeu Rodrigues. Oséas Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Leonel Paes took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Oséas Carioca to make any attempt to save it.

After a rather tough play, Extrema's Sandrinho Veiga got a free kick in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Leonel Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonel Paes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oséas Carioca having to make a save. After 65 played minutes Extrema got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Veiga. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Extrema's goalkeeper Oséas Carioca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edmundo Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Luís do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Conani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Leonel Paes struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Oséas Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conani. Frédson Furtado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeu Rodrigues having to make a save. Luís do Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oséas Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís do Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Conani's zone, Frédson Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Rodrigues came out of the goal and Frédson Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Extrema's Claudinho Vale got a free kick in the 99th minute. Conani's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
