Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edson da Costa kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wolfgang's zone, Adalmo Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Bezerra came out of the goal and Adalmo Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalmo Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Adalmo Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Bezerra. Wolfgang's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalmo Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Adalmo Valadares notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wolfgang's Chico Bezerra. Chico Bezerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chico Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalmo Valadares in the 17th minute of the match. Sidney de Lara hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Wolfgang's goal looked a bit too open when Adalmo Valadares came free, but Chico Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Zonta struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Chico Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goiás DESCUBRA Clube. Chico Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalmo Valadares in the 24th minute of play. Chico Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalmo Valadares in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Wolfgang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Lucas to maneuver through the defense. In the 37thth minute of the game Nestor Zonta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wolfgang's Chico Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Wolfgang's Elano Mota got a free kick in the 38th minute. Nestor Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Chico Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Zonta might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Bezerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Zonta ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Goiás DESCUBRA Clube's Douglas Tasso got control of the ball when Victor Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Paulo Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Tasso having to interfere.

The wind increased when Nestor Zonta made the kick off in the second half. If Nestor Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Chico Bezerra managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Goiás DESCUBRA Clube's Nestor Zonta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chico Bezerra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. If Adalmo Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dênis Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dênis Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dênis Velasco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Dênis Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Goiás DESCUBRA Clube's Adalmo Valadares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Goiás DESCUBRA Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
