The Iaripo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Seco should have stopped the shot. Rubinho Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Manuel Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Rubinho Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo Azul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 70 minutes into the match, Iaripo's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Matos came free, but Manuel Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Rubinho Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Galo Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Simão to maneuver through the defense. Galo Azul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
