Nando Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Benjamim Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Galo Azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamim Tinoco couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nando Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Galo Azul's Gonçalo Chaves made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nando Campidelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonçalo Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonçalo Chaves's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes, Benjamim Tinoco made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Moleques AD's Nando Campidelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nando Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamim Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After the first half Galo Azul were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Elivélton Terra made the kick off in the second half. Paulinho Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Terra in the 51st minute of play. Paulinho Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Terra in the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Moleques AD's Elivélton Terra made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Moleques AD's zone, Gonçalo Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Campidelis came out of the goal and Gonçalo Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Tinoco in the 66th minute of play forced Moleques AD's goalkeeper Nando Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. The supporters of Galo Azul booed when Moleques AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Benjamim Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Moleques AD got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Mendonça. If Gonçalo Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Galo Azul's Benjamim Tinoco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nando Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Nando Campidelis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. The Moleques AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galo Azul were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
