After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Nildo Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catadupas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nildo Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernani Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute, 100 MIZÉRIA's Tião de Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hernani Tróia. Hernani Tróia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Nildo Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafa Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Nildo Lago came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Catadupas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Lago couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Leonel Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Alcântara was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Catadupas's zone, Edgard de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Tróia came out of the goal and Edgard de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Leonel Araújo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 85 minutes into the match, 100 MIZÉRIA's goalkeeper Rafa Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nildo Lago. Rafa Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Lago in the 86th minute. 100 MIZÉRIA's Edgard de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hernani Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 100 MIZÉRIA. 100 MIZÉRIA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Catadupas to leave the ground with a draw.
