In the 16th minute, Emanuel Gerber made a precise shot to the right of Virgílio Pombal. SalachFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Giovanni Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Germano da Rocha took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Pombal. Virgílio Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Giovanni Freire did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Betão Albuquerque 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Giovanni Freire dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Betão Albuquerque, 2-2. A hard shot 39 in the game by Giovanni Freire from a close distance when the talented Betão Albuquerque managed to make a qualified save. Ciclón da Itapira's players were relieved. SalachFC's attack was well implemented in the 40th minute, but when Giovanni Freire was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. With a little luck, Ciclón da Itapira's Betão Albuquerque got control of the ball when Giovanni Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Giovanni Freire fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Betão Albuquerque, passed just outside the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Germano da Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Giovanni Freire came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SalachFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovanni Freire couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ciclón da Itapira getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fabinho Coutinho hit a great ball. Lykos Tsarouhtsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Freire in the 61st minute of play forced Ciclón da Itapira's goalkeeper Betão Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ciclón da Itapira booed when SalachFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th match minute, SalachFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Coutinho during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Giovanni Freire made a precise shot to the right of Betão Albuquerque. Ciclón da Itapira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. SalachFC's Virgílio Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano da Rocha in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Donato Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SalachFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Tepedino's late challenge caught a Ciclón da Itapira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Tepedino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ciclón da Itapira booed when SalachFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Ciclón da Itapira's Germano da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgílio Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82nd play minutes Giovanni Freire shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Betão Albuquerque and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Freire in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão Albuquerque saved Ciclón da Itapira from getting behind. Gil Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Freire in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão Albuquerque saved Ciclón da Itapira from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Giovanni Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. SalachFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SalachFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
