Fellipe Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Eurico da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute of the match, Ian de Medeiros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geovanni Sampaio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Geovanni Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes FC Inter United got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo de Andrade. In the 19th minute Marcelo de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião de Amorim in the 21st minute of play. When FC Inter United's Eurico da Fonseca in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg Geovanni Sampaio managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when FC Inter United's Ian de Medeiros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian de Medeiros in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian de Medeiross short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Geovanni Sampaio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Eduardo's goal looked a bit too open when Ian de Medeiros came free, but Geovanni Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, FC Inter United's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo de Castro came free, but Fellipe Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ian de Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Willian Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gugu Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Fellipe Goiano made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Eurico da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geovanni Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eurico da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Geovanni Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute of the match Jano Velloso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovanni Sampaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Marcelo de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, Eduardo's Marcelo de Castro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
