Luizão Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ouricana's Edmundo Tasso got control of the ball when Vivaldo Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luizão Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Tasso was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Luizão Veiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmundo Tasso.
