Kaan Kaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Sigfridsson in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Arembepe booed when MALDITA MZB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Cesare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaan Kaan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Vasconcelos in the 9th minute of play. Arembepe's Afonso Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caetano Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perivaldo Vander in the 25th minute. Caetano Félix was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Tepedino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Edmundo Tepedino took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Félix. Caetano Félix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Amerigo Cesare fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MALDITA MZB's protests and gave Amerigo Cesare a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MALDITA MZB's Amerigo Cesare got a free kick in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Sigfridsson to make the kick off. Arembepe's Caetano Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Tepedino in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match, Alf Sigfridsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kaan Kaan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute Arembepe were awarded a corner. Afonso Vasconcelos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Arembepe's Afonso Vasconcelos to fire away a dangerous shot which Kaan Kaan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 59th play minutes Edmundo Tepedino shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Caetano Félix and just under the crossbar into goal. 62 minutes into the match, Arembepe's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Tepedino came free, but Caetano Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Perivaldo Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MALDITA MZB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Silvinho Pinheiro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Perivaldo Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perivaldo Vander's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Tepedino in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caetano Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Tepedino in the 73rd minute of play. When Alf Sigfridsson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Arembepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Sigfridsson couldn't finish the play. If Perivaldo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Arembepe got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Britto. After a defensive mix-up in MALDITA MZB's zone, Alf Sigfridsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaan Kaan came out of the goal and Alf Sigfridsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MALDITA MZB's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
