If 范烨霆 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Rodriguinho Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Bruno Schmidt came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Palalaika's 范烨霆. But to his dismay, 范烨霆 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 范烨霆 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Schmidt having to interfere. Bruno Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Baichenko's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, 范烨霆 made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Schmidt. Mairi AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Hélio de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dadá Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mairi AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sport Club Palalaika fully deserved thier win.
