Marcus Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Granzato's zone, Marcus Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Mattos came out of the goal and Marcus Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Bernardinho Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Marcus Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Mendonça got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anselmo Mattos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Donato Monteiro had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Vânderson Guimarães's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Donato Monteiro came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Granzato's Vânderson Guimarães. But to his dismay, Vânderson Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 72nd match minute, Granzato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Urbano to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Hernani Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Mangueira scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Mattos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardinho Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Mattos having to interfere. Frederico de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anselmo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Granzato's Anselmo Mattos got control of the ball when Bernardinho Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Granzato fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bad Boys Forever were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
