With a little luck, Galáticos Paulista S.C.'s José Pedro Moraes got control of the ball when Ulysses Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulysses Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but José Pedro Moraes made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Elano Teles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Pedro Moraes having to make a save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brahmeiro F.C fully deserved thier win.
