In the 12thth minute of the game Cauã Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aruja SC's Elias Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eurico Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aruja SC defense, Luiz Paulo Soeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Nunes. The Aruja SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Nunes should have stopped the shot. David Senna hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cauã Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Elias Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Nunes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cauã Teixeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. After 43 played minutes, Família Avelino FC.'s Pedro Paulo Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Nunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Família Avelino FC. reached it. Elias Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Cauã Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Teixeira in the 52nd minute of play forced Aruja SC's goalkeeper Elias Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Luiz Paulo Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Paulo Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Teixeira in the 59th minute of play forced Aruja SC's goalkeeper Elias Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Cauã Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Família Avelino FC. fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Família Avelino FC.'s Cauã Teixeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jarbas Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Aruja SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aruja SC's Elias Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Senna in the 86th minute of play. Ismael Gerber hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Luiz Paulo Soeiro took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Nunes. Elias Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Amílton Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílton Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aruja SC's Amílton Almeida got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cauã Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Elias Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Família Avelino FC.. Elias Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Teixeira in the 95th minute of play. Cauã Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Nunes having to interfere. Família Avelino FC. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
