The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Joonas Sammalkangas came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Guatacaba EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joonas Sammalkangas couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Guatacaba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Travassos came free, but Armandinho Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armandinho Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Gernando Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Travassos in the 24th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Guatacaba EC got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Eger. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arthur Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Ravenclaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joonas Sammalkangas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jonathan Perez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to S.C. Ravenclaw getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gernando Galvão hit a great ball. Joonas Sammalkangas in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Perez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 36 minutes into the match, Dudu Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armandinho Diniz. Guatacaba EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dudu Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jonathan Perez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Salvidor went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arthur Travassos to make the kick off. Armandinho Diniz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dudu Branco sent off a good shot on target. Dudu Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Diniz having to interfere. A collision led to Guatacaba EC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hernani Eger hit a great ball. Hernani Eger hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The referee gave S.C. Ravenclaw a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Diogo Amorim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guatacaba EC's Armandinho Diniz. 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Luiz Fábio de Amaral in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guatacaba EC's Haroldo Salvidor. A collision led to S.C. Ravenclaw getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gernando Galvão hit a great ball. Joonas Sammalkangas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Luisinho Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dudu Brancos short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Armandinho Diniz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Haroldo Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S.C. Ravenclaw's Jonathan Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Salvidor in the 82nd minute of play. Diogo Amorim hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Haroldo Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Perez having to interfere. A collision led to S.C. Ravenclaw getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Amílton Fontes hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, S.C. Ravenclaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Amorim to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. S.C. Ravenclaw walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
