Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnaldo Carioca got the match started through his kick off. Gláuber Ortiz came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Garbin FC's Michel Luz. But to his dismay, Michel Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joaquim Pombal struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gláuber Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garbin FC. 11 minutes into the game, Michel Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gláuber Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the game, Kauan Campidelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garbin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Carapina FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Garbin FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Campidelis. Duarte Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Luiz Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Duarte Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Vaz having to interfere. If Duarte Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Arnaldo Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Andrézinho Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gláuber Ortiz skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th minute, Rui Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Duarte Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Carapina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidnei Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Garbin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Fontes came free, but André Luiz Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Duarte Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Vaz having to interfere. Garbin FC's André Luiz Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Fontes in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Garbin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Fontes came free, but André Luiz Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Duarte Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. André Luiz Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gláuber Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Pombal in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Carapina FC's goalkeeper Gláuber Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Garbin FC's zone, Duarte Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Vaz came out of the goal and Duarte Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Arnaldo Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Carapina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 94thth minute of the game Duarte Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garbin FC's André Luiz Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Nova Carapina FC's Artur Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Luiz Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Michel Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garbin FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nova Carapina FC's much stronger midfield.
