With his leg Benê Dias managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's Özalp Sabahaddin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benê Dias stood somewhat misplaced when Özalp Sabahaddin came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. In the 25th minute Elano Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Guo Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özalp Sabahaddin in the 42nd minute.

When Inácio Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolicho's protests and gave Inácio Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bolicho getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Inácio Sampaio hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Özalp Sabahaddin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ye Guo Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's Özalp Sabahaddin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benê Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's Karol Rydz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ made a substitution. Presebal Lorenzo replaced Özalp Sabahaddin. The Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's Presebal Lorenzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
