Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zézinho Fonseca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vladimir Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Guedes having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Fidalgo's Zézinho Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswaldo Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fidalgo's Zézinho Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Vladimir Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Guedes having to interfere. Manfredo dos Santos's late challenge caught a Vitoriano SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vitoriano SC booed when Fidalgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Marquinhos Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Luiz Ramos. That made the score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Oswaldo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Fidalgo's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otávio Marquez. In the 38th minute, Otávio Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vitoriano SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Zézinho Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei Custódio during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vitoriano SC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dinei Custódio hit a great ball.

Otávio Marquez took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luiz Ramos. Sílvio Luiz Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Fidalgo's Vladimir Mazza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vladimir Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vitoriano SC's Oswaldo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Fonseca in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Otávio Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th play minute Vladimir Mazza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oswaldo Guedes. 5-2. In the 78th minute of the match, Zézinho Fonseca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oswaldo Guedes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Thomás Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fidalgo's protests and gave Thomás Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Fidalgo got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Aguiar. In the 84th minute, Otávio Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimir Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Guedes having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Marquez in the 93rd minute of the match. The Vitoriano SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
