When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Hélio Perez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hélder Vasconcelos to make any attempt to save it. Wágner Pimenta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hélder Vasconcelos came out and tried to block the shot, but Wágner Pimenta slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. Hélder Vasconcelos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hélio Perez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Natã Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Dagoberto Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poramana SC. Andrei Nițisor's late challenge caught a Poramana SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Nițisor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, BIRIGUI FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Nițisor to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Andrei Nițisor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Dionísio Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poramana SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BIRIGUI FUTEBOL CLUBE the free kick. Pedro Luiz da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Vasconcelos having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Wágner Pimenta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hélder Vasconcelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

BIRIGUI FUTEBOL CLUBE's Elder Santana was substituted for Luiz Fernando da Rocha. After a rather tough play, Poramana SC's Natã Guimarães got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of BIRIGUI FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Poramana SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Poramana SC's zone, Josué Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Josué Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deivid Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match.
