Oeiras F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Susto AD the free kick. 23 minutes into the match, Susto AD's Moisés Tinoco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 played minutes Oeiras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Monteiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Soares in the 27th minute of play forced Oeiras F.C.'s goalkeeper Bruninho Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Oswaldo Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abel Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Susto AD's zone, Mazinho Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Recife came out of the goal and Mazinho Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Miranda's late challenge caught a Susto AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oeiras F.C.'s Anselmo Miranda got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Richard Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oeiras F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Susto AD the free kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oeiras F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
